I cannot help but believe that there is a certain sort of hatred that God reserves for hypocrites such as Fred Phelps, not only for his actions as detailed below, but for dragging little children into his slimy ways.
BRANDON, MS (WLBT) -
Westboro Baptist Church, which won a court fight to protest at military funerals across the country, has announced that it will have protesters at the Saturday funeral of Staff Sergeant Jason Rogers of Brandon.
Rogers was killed during combat operations in Afghanistan on Thursday. His remains are being returned to Mississippi on Thursday, and his funeral will be Saturday at Pinelake Baptist Church in Brandon.
Westboro’s protesters have upset mourners at previous funerals for holding signs that say, “God Hates Fags.” In a news release on the church’s website regarding Rogers’ funeral, the church says, “God hates America & is killing our troops in his wrath.”
